Context
Grotesque – that can mean funny, ridiculous, contradictory or repulsive. Today, the grotesque is indispensable in the appearances of Conchita Wurst, the films of Quentin Tarantino or the headline-grabbing treatment of news.
So.. What is grotesque? I tried to capture the meaning of it with my body.
Over 800 pictures were the result to my question „What is grotesque?“4 of them were exhibited in 2016 at „Gallerie HBK Saar“ in Saarbrücken.
